Where do you learn how to parent in America?
Dr. Jawanza Kunjufu
The last 30 years have proven that the more we leave the
responsibility As parents we must do whatever we can to redeem them
before someone else, who does not have their best interest at heart, purchases
them for mere Derek Blackmon

Nora Martin PhD.
Jenkins and Martin states the only way our children are left behind is that we left them behind. As parents, grandparents, caregivers, mentors, etc. we have a responsibility (as their Leaders) for teaching our children. This small book, will discuss ways to HELP provide the basic foundation for our youth - one family at a time. Jenkins states she has a passion for HELPING parents. As a parent and grandparent she will share tips for the parent of today. She teamed up with Dr. Loretta Martin (co-author) to publish this small powerful book that will challenge all who care about our future to look to ourselves for the strength we need to change the hype about our youth. Jenkins and Martin are available to speak at your PTA meeting, Church meeting, or maybe you just want a few family members and friends over to discuss some of your concerns. Their motivational style and compassion is a key for some successful discussions.

Time It is important to recognize that your child has top priority over all the items on your list of things that need to be done. Your child needs your love. Money is no substitution for your love. It is your touch that is important. That hug or kiss you give them before they go to sleep. It is the quality time you spend with them. It is when you are cheering them from the side line. They see you. Your child needs for you to listen to them.
